Konstaro ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Konstaro web application at konstaro.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. By accessing or using Konstaro, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and company name when you create an account.
  • Business data: Technician names, weekly performance metrics (jobs completed, revenue, close rates, callbacks, memberships sold, replacement leads), CSR booking data, and business health figures you enter into Konstaro.
  • Payment information: Billing details processed through Stripe. Konstaro does not store your credit card number, bank account information, or other payment credentials on our servers — all payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe.
  • Jobber account data: If you connect your Jobber account, we access job and revenue data for your technicians via the Jobber API to auto-populate weekly entries. We only access the data necessary to provide the service and do not store your Jobber credentials.
  • Usage data: Information about how you interact with the application, including pages visited, features used, and browser type.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Konstaro service, including generating scorecards, morning meeting agendas, bonus sheets, and business health dashboards.
  • Process your subscription payments through Stripe.
  • Send transactional emails related to your account, such as welcome emails, weekly report notifications, and billing receipts.
  • Respond to customer support requests.
  • Improve and optimize the service.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or business data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement row-level security policies to ensure your data is only accessible to your account. Our application is hosted on Railway with HTTPS enforced on all connections.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

Konstaro uses the following third-party services that may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase — Database hosting and user authentication.
  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles all payment information; Konstaro never stores your payment credentials.
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery.
  • Jobber — Field service management integration (only if you choose to connect your Jobber account).
  • Railway — Application hosting and infrastructure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account and request deletion of your data, we will delete all your personal information and business data from our systems within 30 days of your request. Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal and business data we hold about you.
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
  • Correct inaccurate information in your account.

8. Cookies

Konstaro uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Konstaro after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
